RVS College of Engineering and Technology is a self-financing, non-minority college established in 1985 by the RVS Educational Trust in Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The college imparts technical education to the youth of remote areas of Tamilnadu. The college has a very attracting infrastructure and a lot of facilities for the students. The College is situated just 8 Kms from Dindigul town.

Hostel:

Hostel provides accommodation to about 800 boys’ student and about 300 girl students. Hostel provides recreation facility with TV, sports facility, gymnasium and many other eminent facilities.

Co-curricular and Extra Curricular Activities:

Students are encouraged to take part in various activities like presentation of technical papers, participating in technical seminars. NSS, NSO, YRC, Lions Club are also active in the campus.

Life as a Microbiologist at RVS CAS

Admission:

Easy admission process, efficient process. The application form can be obtained and filled out later on, the initial admission fee is sufficient to book a seat in the course. The eligibility is biology in the 12th standard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been intrigued by microbes from a young age and with a passion to enter biomedical research, I chose an undergraduate degree in microbiology. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 10:200 or 1:20 which is very helpful. Most of the faculty is highly experienced with decades and their teaching methods are a mix of the old and new.

This is a professional course that's why I choose this course. There are 30 faculties for 400 students. The faculties are well experienced and they teach clearly about subjects. The faculties are PG and Doctorate. mid-term, theory and practical exams are there.

A nice college for doing masters in biochemistry

50% marks are the eligibility criteria for admission to post-graduation courses. The application for admission was available both online and offline. If you choose offline you have to visit the admission cell. admission for post-graduation was open from August 2022 last year. There are reservations available for students belonging to sc/St admission fees was 4000 in 2022.

I choose this college mainly because the course has various job opportunities in the fields of pharmacy, laboratories and research.30 students are there in my classroom. The faculties are well qualified and they are able to convey the points clearly to the students. Their way of teaching is outstanding. however, they use the native language Tamil a lot. Most of the teachers have completed PhD in at least one subject. The exams are conducted every semester and results are also published soon within a time period of one month after the examination.

A good college with cheap fee structure

About 50% of students each year are placed across various companies across India.20 % of students are placed each year in high positions with a minimum starting salary of 15000. Most of the students are placed with a minimum salary of 8000rs. Top recycling companies include various pharmaceutical as well as various laboratory companies. Companies include Cipla, sun pharma divis laboratories, etc. Most of the students are getting internships in my discipline. Most students are placed as lab technicians, majors and biotechnologists, and lab assistants.

I choose this college mainly because the Placements cell is working well. The teachers are good and their way of teaching is super. They are clearly following the rules of college in every aspect. The teachings are in a convenient way and they are able to convey the messages clearly to the students However they are not taking classes fully in English. The curriculum is not much hard and it is job oriented. Semester exams are not much hard and almost all students are getting passing marks. almost all the teachers are Ph.D. qualified. There are 35 students in our batch.

Exhausting collge life for outstate students

The admission process is full management, there is no entrance exam here for a degree, I got 71 %in life science. The application form is got from the college site. There is no reservation. I want to improve the admissions process so easy

This course has more opportunities for getting a better job. The Faculty is very good, and the students are fewer than in the other classes. The faculty are highly educated. The exam is conducted at the proper time and the result is published at the correct time

There is no entrance exam fully managed. Eligibility is 55 percent in degree. The Application forms will be opened on the college website. No reservations are available. No need for any improvement in the admission process.
