IET DAVV college review and placements are IET DAVV Indore

Admission:

The admission is based on the JEE MAINS rank. The cut-off is based on the courses you want. Suppose for computer engineering BE the cut-off is 40000 AIR rank in jee mains for general and OBC and the similar trend goes for other branches like for information technology the cut-off is 52000 and Electronic and telecommunication engineering 70000 and for electronics and instrumentation engineering 85000, approximately 120000 - 150000 for the mechanical and then civil engineering . The cut-off is quite high for an average Student to get computer engineering compared to other branches and other government colleges of a similar kind. These are the cutoffs of the 2nd round and for college-level counseling, the cut-off may vary. The college is good in reputation but not that much famous compared to sgsits because it is known for the university name Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Takshila campus. The admission process is smooth and you need only an hour for the process to finish.

Life of Student in IET DAVV

Admission:

To taking admitted to this college we will have to clear jee main exam with a good rank then we will get a good branch like computer and science, Information technology and electronics and telecommunication and electronics and instrumentation branch and if you are from the general category then you will have to score under 50000 rank for getting cse and information technology and if you will get under 60000 you will also get electronic and instrumentation branch also. For the mechanical and civil branches, you will get under 150000 rank. It is the same for OBC only the 5000 to 6000 rank decreases but if you are from the sc and st categories you will get cs and its branches under the 150000 rank and for other branches, you will get under the 500000 rank. For the admission process, you will have to go to DTE MP counselling side where you will have to do registration then you will have to pay 2500 rs as registration fees and fill choice according to your mark versus college than merit list will come if you didn't get college in the first round

We have to fill out the mp DTE application form on the basis of our jee mains rank. I got into the Iet davv IT branch at the rank of 47893 crl the cutoff for the IT branch was 55k.

For admission you've to give jee mains exam. The application form can be filled on mpdte website. After the regular rounds there is a college level counseling for admission in which you've to be present at the college campus on the told dates with required documents. The application form fees is around 1500. As IET DAVV is a state government college so there's 85% reservation for Madhya Pradesh state students.

It would be a bit difficult to get listed in both the colleges, but in college-level counseling, there is still a 50% chance. A friend of mine got admission to the EI branch at IET DAVV with a rank of AIR 1,60,000 (general category) through CLC. You might get branches like EI, Biomedical, etc. You can get these branches in college-level counseling or even in the second round. But it’s risky. If you fail to get in, you may have to drop a year. My friend got lucky with the seat. I will only recommend going for it, if you are willing to drop a year or have other alternatives. ...Read more

I have a few friends from IET DAVV Indore, and according to them, if your general merit list rank is 19k then there are good chances for admission at the institute. According to the recent cutoff trends, the cutoff required for OBC category students for the CSE branch was 104614-203621. For selection, the institute gives first preference to OBC and the UR (Un-reserved) people with NCL. If you didn’t get in by the first round you will get CSE in the second round. The short answer is no. My brother is currently studying mechanical engineering at IET-DAVV. He got AIR 63000 rank in the general category and still had to struggle a lot to get admission. With a rank of 3,16,000, it’s next to impossible to get into IET-DAVV even from SC/ST category. However, if you are looking forward to the next attempt, check out the opening and closing ranks of IET-DAVV 2020 to get a better view.
