Master's program from Jawaharlal Nehru University (2021)

JNU is a better option, especially for postgraduate degrees. JNU has a different aura altogether. The environment on campus is extremely accepting. You will meet people on campus who are intellectuals, readers, writers, and speakers. Simply being on JNU campus can be rewarding. It has a different culture entirely which motivates the holistic development of personality. JNU has an excellent faculty base.

In financial terms as well JNU is a better option. The course fees and hostel fees are lower compared to DU. As per JNU University course fees, an MSc degree costs around INR 692.

It depends on the degree. For undergraduates, DU is better. For postgraduate and higher studies JNU courses are better. JNU has a terrific academic environment and research facilities.

DU cutoff is quite high. Getting admission into the institute is more difficult compared to JNU. Cultural life at DU is more vibrant. There are many clubs and societies that you can be a part of. DU organizes many events such as freshers parties to annual fests. DU fests are simply unparalleled.

Both DU and JNU offer good opportunities and explore to students.

One of my friends has been part of Delhi University (DU). She mentions that the exposure in the institute is quite exceptional, both in terms of becoming socially active and participating in several extra-curricular activities. However, there are alarming issues with the hostels of the institute, alongside an unnaturally outmoded examination procedure.

JNU has a very difficult examination process partially because it is nearly impossible to understand what a university is looking for in a candidate. However, the environment is extremely favorable for students. It additionally incorporates a general culture of debates which helps make the environment more welcoming. In addition, the departments of the institute are highly rewarding in terms of their faculty. Most importantly, the institute instigates students to pursue their courses in an effective way.

Delhi University, in respect to its curriculum, does offer several exceptional B.A courses. Having said that, choosing any of these two institutes totally depends upon what you want to study.
