If you are from CST, it, etc branches you will most probably get a decent or very good job if you put in the effort. The average package of the CST branch last year was around 19lacs (which has increased this year). The same was for IT ranch. Etc branch has also average above 10. Companies hiring for core-related jobs come less in number. Atlassian, Microsoft, and google were the top companies that came for recruitment last year.
you get this college through jee mains rank. After Jee mains and jee advanced, JOSAA seat allocation starts and you can get this college through it. It comes under (nit+system). Josaa contains 6 main rounds and 2 extra rounds (CSAB). If you are getting into this college in any round you have to submit all required details(given on the JOSAA website). Then there will be offline verification in which you have to come to college to submit all the details. Important documents include the 10th and 12th mark sheet, income certificate (from tehsildar) adharcard photocopy anti-ragging certificate from court 4 passport-size photos (needed to paste on admission form). Then you have to submit all fees (around 75000 in my time). you also have to open a student bank account in UCO bank in the college branch for a smooth financial process. if you are from a reserved category, you need to bring a category certificate for that. There is no need for a gap certificate in this college(as some colleges need it). Overseas students have diff processes.
For campus placement, 7&8 semester students are eligible for the placement. Our department's highest package is 30LPA and the average package is 696000rs. In the last batch, there are 84 % of students got the placement. I want to become an entrepreneur.
Eligibility of the course - maths stream as a subject in your senior secondary education (12th) and at least 75% secure there. Every year NTA releases the form for taking admission to any national institute of technology ( B.tech and B.arch) and the application form fee is 650 RS. , and their exam papers occurred in Jan, Feb, March, and April, you can choose all of them or anyone according to your preparation. Reservation is given by category wise so SC, and ST students get more benefits. I want to suggest that reservation is based on family income rather than category.
IIEST, Shibpur is an institute of national importance. The institute admits students through JEE mains examination. The application form can be accessed through jeemain.nta.nic.in website. The application fee is INR 1000 for gen/gen-ews/obc(ncl) male candidates and INR 500 for SC /ST/ PWD/ TRANSGENDER and FEMALE candidates. SSBy - Shreyansh SrivastavaThe admission process is through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains and JoSSA or CSAB counselling. Students who qualify for JEE criteria and clear the mains exam can apply. Reservations to EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD students are offered. Female supernumerary seats are also there.
VMBy - Vaishnavi MalviyaYou have to give JEE Mains examination and secured a rank of below 40,000(unreserved) The application form is available online around January (session 1) and February (session 2) every year you can attempt the exam twice each year. The application fee is 1000 for general males and 800 rupees for general females, for SC/ST/PwD it is 500 for both males and females. The cutoff varies for each year in 2018 it is 75 for general 32 for OBC and 25 for SC, 16 for ST. The only improvement I want to see is less difference in cutoff marks.
