I choose this course because it provides a broad study of all three subjects botany zoology and chemistry and I also have an interest in research-related things which was the main reason for selecting this course
For this course, you have to give CUET exam which is conducted yearly since last year. We get application forms at Samarth portal of NTA after successful application filling you have to give an exam in selected domains(subject)
Each year placement drive is driven by the placement cell of the college. The placement is quite good. The average placement is around 4-5 LPA. The companies coming to the campus are also from their 1 and it's a good opportunity for those who looking for a job just after graduation.
Everything was perfect. But I was stuck at a point when there was the verification of the OBC category certificate and they were calling many times but my phone was out of network coverage area due to some delay in my admission after some time everything was fine.
The course curriculum is quite easy if you are interested in statistics and have fun playing with numbers and charts. Also, faculty is also very nice and helpful they intend to help you as much as possible
For this course, maths is compulsory in classXII and for admission, one needs to give the entrance exam. CUET is the exam that needs to be given and details regarding the exam are easily available on the official website
SVC provided really great placement opportunities. Generally, last year's students are eligible for the placements. Companies like Accenture, TCS, tech Mahindra, etc came to our college with placement opportunities with 15-22lakh per annum packages. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum for BCom students and the average was 16 lakhs per annum. A good amount of students got placed in these MNCs.
The admission process at my time was pretty simple as it was based on cutoffs. Based on my percentage I checked the cutoffs. After I got eligible for admission I took the required documents such as Xth Marksheet, XII Marksheet, caste certificate, migration certificate, aadhar, application form etc. Anyone can find the application form on the DU website itself. Each and every detail regarding the admissions is mentioned there only on the notice board of the site and this site is easy to operate so there's no need to worry. Recent school pass-outs can check their eligibility according to the course they choose and then select the methods available in the application form. There is relaxation for people other than the general category. The admissions process at DU has already improved, so I don't think there's any need for improvement.
Placements are there but only for commerce students not for science. Science people go for further studies or prepare for UPSC exams. Some students from science got a chance to go into the corporate sector. From the last sem student get a chance for campus placement. Many small companies or start-up companies came. The highest package I heard was 20 lakh and the average was 6-7 lakh. After getting the degree o opted for Msc.
12 pass-out students can apply to this university. Admission process through merit list from 12th board%. Application fees are 500rs per course. Reservation seats are many you can apply through sports quota, defense quota, etc.
Faculty members of Sri Venkateswara college are very supportive and helpful. As I have a special interest in biochemistry subject they helped me to gain more interest. The teaching staff is very very good at Sri Venkateswara college.
The admissions process was very simple at that time. There was no cuet exam. Just you should have biology/biotechnology as a subject in class 12 and study well. Students nowadays, have to score well in cuet to get into colleges like Sri Venkateswara colleges.

The eligibility of the course was simple on the basis of 12 marks percentage. Everything thing is available on the Internet and the college provides the dates and forms. Reservation is provided for OBC/SC/ST/ and military army. Make the admission procedure more smooth.
PABy - Priyanshu AgarwalMore than 60% marks in 12th class. On the Delhi University website itself. Yes, the percentage is too low for reserved cat after the third cut-off list. No, I am fully satisfied now it's changed into cuet procedure.
ABy - AakankshaAccording to the current scenario, the admission procedure has been totally changed from 10+2 merit to Cucet, in which u have to appear for the entrance test where you will ask questions from the social science subjects and English language. The merit list will be made on the basis of this entrance test mark. Those who belong to the reserved category will get benefitted here in the merit list, to avail of this benefit they need their category certificates. For application forms and other related queries, students can visit the Delhi University website.
