New Delhi, Delhi NCR Estd 1961 DU, New Delhi Public 0 Ranked 75 For Overall By NIRF 2022

Institute of Home Economics admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by NTA for all UG and PG programs. Candidates seeking admission to UG courses are required to appear for the CUET UG examination while candidates need to appear for CUET PG for PG admissions. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions has been discarded from the academic year 2023. Ph.D. admissions will be based on the candidate’s merit in the entrance exam conducted by Delhi University.

Once the CUET results are out, eligible candidates must apply on Delhi University’s admission portal-- admission.uod.ac.in for all UG and PG programs. Further, they are required to fill in their preference for the program and college. Seat Allocation for UG admissions will be done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal while PG selections will be based on the merit list released by the institute for both merit and entrance-based admissions.

For PG admissions, half of the total seats will be allocated based on merit in the qualifying examination. This merit-based option is only for those who hold their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled based on the candidate’s rank in the CUET PG examination. Institute of Home Economics also provides 50% of the seats reserved for candidates in the SC/ST/OBC/EWS category. Check Institute of Home Economics Courses & Fees
