I've chosen to pursue Applied Psychology since it's something I'm immensely interested in. I like to help people in whatever way I can. However, the college I chose had a 1:22 student ratio which in my opinion is not enough since our class had over 100 students. The faculty is nice however there is a gap since some of the faculty have a way of speaking which is generally difficult to understand.
During my admission, there were no entrances so the admission process included filling up the portal of Delhi University and filling in all the details. It was relatively easy and I could do it myself. The application fee was around 200 I believe and the application dates were in June 2020
I took a history subject at college and like to learn past things from a different history book. we have a lot of students in the class but they are very good at learning new things. They taught in a good manner and they are very friendly to the students. if we study hard we took the exam as easily and do not study then it's difficult to pass the exam.
I got my eligibility to DU after my 12 standards. I filled up my application form from the DU website I paid 6000 RS for the application in the month of July. They gave a reservation for OBC like 27%, SC 7%, ST 8%, etc. They have a long queue during the admission process that's what I want to improve at the college.
I am a B.A. Hindi honors enrolled students and I chose this course because I want to become a government officer Hindi is a major subject in my competitive exam journey so it helps me to prepare better for my upcoming govt. Exams The faculty ratio is quite a good professor is well educated and Ph.D. degree holder from JNU and other top-ranking universities. The student ratio is also quite good as the crowd is well-maintained and literate. Some students belong to other states. The professors are Ph.D. degree holders and well-educated and well-behaved toward students. the teaching method is also quite good and fluent in their master's subject. The BA degree is for 3 years and every year till graduation, there are 6 semesters. Every year there is 2 semester so there are six exams that you have to pass to get your degree at last. The exam is moderate as you study well course focus on your books and class lectures ask doubts from the teacher and you definitely crack them with great CGPA or marks
Well in the year, when I was trying to get admitted to college the process of admission is quite simple. The eligibility of the course all depends on the cut-off that the officials were released all the matter was done with merit. You can find the application form on Du's website www.du.ac.in. after submitting your application to your chosen college where your marks are all set up for your favorite course and college then the college would accept your application then there's a link to the final fee submission and then your admission is approved. If you belong to any reserved category then there is much more opportunity for you to get admission in college because there's a reservation for reserved or quota holder students, in Du we can see the reservation of women too. The process of admission is quite easy but all I want to see as an improvement is, students who don't know about the criteria and don't have any idea to use the internet belongs to the Village area need to be focused on by the University and give them help
Actually, I am a new student so I don't have much idea about this topic but after discussing it with my seniors and professors many companies do come to our college to hire their employees. There are better chances of placement
This year a new examination was introduced to take admission to various central universities including DU. This examination was CUET ie Common University Entrance Test. It was conducted by NTA. This examination contains 3 sections 1 - Language, 2- Domain subject, and 3- General test. To take admission to DU you have to appear in 3 domain subjects and that should match your 12 subjects. Each domain subject was 200 marks and the syllabus was 12 NCERT. The examination was held in CBT mode which is a computer-based test. So for DU total marks were 800 and if you are scoring above 500 then you must get into a good college of DU.

The entrance test ie; cuet was held the first time. It was smooth functioning. The application fee for cuet is 1300 rs. The test was very competitive and the syllabus was for 12th-class cbse only. But there is one issue that the exam got cancelled after reaching the centre of cuet.

DCBy - Drishti ChawlaSo the admission was on a merit basis. A total of Cutoffs were released by Delhi University. You have to choose a college in which you are qualified on the basis of the top 4 subjects percentage in class 12. Meanwhile, the opening cutoff for Sri Aurobindo College was 90% something. So Competition here is not easy but cutoffs for SC/ST are always lower as compared to other castes and general categories.
