Placement Experience:

The placements are one of the few things which are very poor for our college. The placements usually happen only for B.Com(Hons) and B.A(Hons) Economics students. In science courses, if you write a research paper or do a research project, then there are high chances of getting placed just after graduation else a master's is the only way to get a job.

Remarks:

The admission was based on class 12th board examination marks. The cutoffs were very high not just for our college but for all the other North campus colleges. The first cutoff for our course was 97%, while it was even 100% for courses like B.Com(Hons), B.a(Hons) Eco, and B.Sc(Hons) Phy. The application form is released every year on DU's official website. Our batch is the last of board exams admission, as now CUET is used for taking admissions in the colleges under DU as per the NEP.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically I choose this course to study commerce-related subjects in depth. Also if someone is pursuing Ca then BCom Hons is the best option because subjects of BCom Hons are similar to that of CA The faculty in my college is very cooperative and kind. Professors have good teaching experience of more than 10 years and most of them had done Ph.D. also which increases their skills Semesters exams happen after every 6 months and are relatively easier to pass

Remarks:

During my time, the admission process was very smooth. Once I got to know that I am eligible for admission based on cut-offs instantly I applied on the Du website and within 2-3 days my application got approved and fee payment link was generated and I got admission after paying fees smoothly. So the process was very convenient

Placement Experience:

Talking about my course, Physics honors there are no such course-specific placements but of course, you can sit in other courses placements if they have mentioned the name of your course. But nearly all the students who are in Physics honors either wanna do a master's and Ph.D. after the bachelor's or they wanna crack some government exam and they are just doing physics for the sake of graduating. Talking about me, I wanna further study and probably wanna be an astrophysicist in the future.

Remarks:

The admission process was completely online and smooth. You just have to create an account on Delhi university's website du.ac.in and just wait for the cutoff. Once you have cleared the cutoff of a certain college then there's an option to apply by giving yearly fees of that college once the college has accepted your request. You can transfer from one college to another too by paying a small amount transfer fee which would be deducted from the fees you paid to book your seat in the previous college you took admitted in. Reservation if any, needs to be certified through the government of India and needs to be uploaded while filling out the admission form. For all science courses at Delhi University, you ought to have Physics, chemistry, and maths in your +2 in school

Placement Experience:

The placements here are not great., Science courses rarely get any placement opportunities. For most of the science students opt for higher studies to get employed. Companies like coding ninja visit our college may provide coding jobs. The average package recieved is around2.5 to 3 lakh per annum. Less than 15% students get placements. I, being a science student plan to go for higher studies in physics.

Remarks:

At my time, admissions were based on class 12 board results. We had to fill out the application form for the university from Delhi university's official website, i.e. du.ac.in. But, now, after the covid period, as we know the studies and also, the board results of students have suffered a lot. Therefore, the National testing agency came out with a new way to judge a student's eligibility to get admission to a particular college for a particular course. They introduced CUET (a Common university entrance test) in which students all over India have to give entrance examinations for various courses. Many universities including the Delhi universities accept the cuet results. The application form for CUET is available on its official website: cuet.samarth.ac.in. Reservation benefits: The application fee is Rs. 800/- for General and OBC candidates, and Rs. 350/- for other reserved categories: these have seats reserved for them. Some Religious minorities also get reservations in some colleges.

Placement Experience:

The students of the 6th semester which means the 3rd year are eligible for campus placements. The companies like TCS, EY, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, ERNST, and many more companies have visited our college with offering a number of packages. The highest package offered was 32 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA depending on the course. The placement rate is not 100 %, if one has to seek admission then he/she has to face a lot of competition. After I complete my graduation from this college I will be appearing for UPSC.

Remarks:

My current course is B.Com prog but I preferred B.Com Hons, if anyone wants to seek admission in my college or university then one has to appear for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for my course are MATHS/ACCOUNTS + ECONOMICS+ BUSINESS STUDIES + ENGLISH LANGUAGE, these are the subjects that I have chosen for my entrance exam I will be discussing them further in detail. The name of the exam is CUET[Common University Entrance Test]. I have given my exam in August 2022 and my classes started in November, to check about this exam more thoroughly visit cuet.samarth.ac.in there u will get the dates of the next exam dates, registration dates, and fees. According to my personally, there should be one improvement in this admission process that is the exam should be conducted on one single day for the same course appearing students because it was conducted on various different days with different difficulty levels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics Hons. is considered to be a very valuable course in India. I have an interest in maths and statistics which led me to choose this course. The faculty is also good. They teach in English and are very proficient.

Remarks:

The admission was mainly through CUET. Khalsa College admission 2022 to UG courses is based on CUET 2022 scores. Eligibility- Applicants must have passed Mathematics in the qualifying examination. No improvement is needed.

Placement Experience:

I did not apply for any placement from college as they were not good enough for me. I'm preparing for further exams and hope to clear them to do M.Sc. In this course, you can opt for any exam.

Remarks:

I had to fill out the form for admission and then based on the percentage that I got in my 12th, I got admission. I had to apply for the college of my liking from the DU'S official portal and then after confirmation, I paid the fees and get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from a commerce background with math as the subject so I chose this. Also, the student ration is 3: 5 un this course .teaching method and the teachers pf this course are awesome. Examinations due to the pandemic held periodically after every 4th month till now which is a little bit difficult task also.

Remarks:

It was a merit-based admission in BCom Hons .you can find my application on the official site of du. I want to see entrance gest instead of merits as it can be more real and every one will get equal opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of medium difficulty. The faculty is very good and well-qualified in this college. If u study, it's easy to pass the exams. I chose this course due to my interest. In chemistry If chemistry is the subject that really interests you then u can take up this course.

Remarks:

Talking abt the eligibility of the course, you need to have chemistry as the main sub in 11th and 10+2. The application can be done from the official site of Delhi University application fees require the first yr fees of the college u are applying for.
