What students say about Maharaja Agrasen College - [MAC]

Likes

  • The course structure of B.COM(HONS) is excellent, covering almost every branch of Commerce such as marketing, tax, cost, and FM.
  • The internship experience is good, and the great thing is that they provide us with good stipends and full facilities.
  • They provide very good and awesome placement opportunities for the students to get settled in.
  • The college provides a scholarship opportunity for students who excel in academics.
  • There are lots of fests organized at the university. The best part is, you can go to any fest of any college at Delhi University.
  • The college hostel provides excellent residential facilities for both boys and girls on the campus.
  • All facilities will be provided by that college, and all festivals are made in our college to be the best ever in Delhi University.

Dislike

  • The course is a bit boring because it lacks a practical approach and most of the syllabus is theoretical.
  • My experience with the internship is null because the college does not provide any internships, and the average stipend amount may be very low.
  • At least 70-80 percent of people dont get placement in any company. Only a few students get placement.
  • I found the fees to be very expensive during the lockdown for online classes, with no concessions given.
  • The bad remark is that there are no placement guarantees and the water condition is also very bad.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th-semester students, the college conducts lots of webinar programs through which lots of companies hire fresher students for internships. Google and Microsoft are one of them there provide opportunities for students highest average paid salary is above 5L to 10L which is really good enough for freshers, and if we talk about the number of placements 45 percent of students get placements by these companies. After my graduation, I want to pursue higher studies in political science and along with that I prepare for competitive exams.

Remarks:

If you had more than 90 percent in your 12th standard you can easily avail of this college for the Ba course you can find the application form on the Delhi University website and the fees of ba course are 13k to 14k and if you belong to SC, ST or PWD category you will get reservation benefits in your admission as well in your fees. The admission process is easily accessible to all the students and you can fill out the form online through the original website of Maharaja Agrasen college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this subject because I like it very much and we have 80 students in our class to teach approx. 10 students per teacher. Our teachers are very highly qualified. His way of teaching is very good. After the COVID-19 academic our semester gaps are too short but we handle it.

Remarks:

When I take admission in college with the course Ba program the eligibility criteria is the basis on a merit list according to my 12th marks I got admission at that time application fee is 250 to fill out the form and the last date to fill out the form was 31st august and I belong to reservation category with obc benefit and I want to see some changes in the admission like There are a lot of documents verification in offline mode this method takes lots of time there should be an online method for verification of documents.

Placement Experience:

Collage has its placement cell which is known as the TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL, and it provides Placements from the 3rd year. It also provides an internship every month. In the last 3 years, I think the college got around 10 to 12 lac per annum as the highest package. A good amount of percentage of students gets Placement from college. I will go for my higher studies.

Remarks:

The College has all the General Courses except B.TECH, MBBS and some language courses. Information regarding the application forms, fees, and dates can be easily found on the official website of the College or Delhi University Website. One can also get Reservation Benefits. The college follows the Central Reservation policy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was chosen for this course BA program math+hindi. I like to solve mathematics questions it is enjoyable for me. We have many such people who are on different subjects, but they write something like English Hindi approximately 20 to 25 per student. Our teachers are highly qualified and their teaching skills are very excellent. The gap between the two sem is 4 to 5 which is short for us but we managed.

Remarks:

Yes, I got a reservation benefit in my admission process. I belong to OBC (non-creamy). I have confirmed my admission at 71% in the last cutoff of OBC candidates. I want to see no any improvement in the college admission process.
