What students say about Deshbandhu College

Likes

  • The NSS and NCC of the Deshbandhu College is also one of the best thing as it gives you the environment to grown and learn , develop your personality.
  • Enviornment and structure of the college is very beautiful and college maintains its standards and discipline
  • The infrastructure of this college is very beautiful and have a separate library.
  • Faculty members- the faculty we have at deshbandhu is perfectly well .
  • College has great societies and NSS is the best of them all.
  • Library is the best thing to be liked its very good.
  • I like the infrastructure of the college and the faculties are also good they are so polite and having great sense of humour

Dislike

  • B.Com (Hons) from Deshbandhu is not worth it because the teachers are careless about the syllabus. Honestly, I want to point out that some teachers dont know how to teach.
  • Formal internship is provided by the college, although teachers advise against wasting your holiday time.
  • In this college, there is no placement cell to help students secure job placements in companies. Some students have had opportunities, but they receive low salaries and are not interested in working for these jobs. Therefore, one should not expect any placement assistance from Deshbandhu.
  • There isnt a single scholarship program to my knowledge, and I am not aware if there is any loan facility in our college. This is very sad, but we must rectify everything and find a solution for the poor quality of food at the PG.
  • It is a small college, of which half of the land is given to another college.
  • Our college has lots of courses, so I feel a little crowded in college due to limited space.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Right now I am doing my bachelor's in science with chemistry as my major. The course I am having in my bachelor's is quite well. The faculty members we have are the best. There is no need to compare them to others. They have the proper knowledge and teach us the best they have. The best faculty I have in my course is my chemistry faculty. They are our teachers during the class but our friends after the class. They never deny us any practical and all, and always support us when needed.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite good. The one who has the potential and proper knowledge can easily get admission to the best college he/she wants to. Eligibility for a course is to have that subject as a compulsion in which he/she wants to have his/ her bachelor's. The one who wants to get admission to Delhi University can check the cuet portal where they get whole information about the exam , eligibility criteria, syllabus, etc. According to me, there is no problem with this criteria. This criterion is best for the student with proper and complete knowledge to get admission to Delhi University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I consulted one of my brothers about this course and also did decent research on it. As this course provides future scope in three subjects - chemistry, mathematics, and physics. The faculty is really good, qualified, humble, and helpful. Exams are mediocre and difficult and with a good amount of practice, you can easily pass.

Remarks:

The admission process was done on the basis of merit and how much you've scored on your boards. It was the last cause now the admission is done through CUET now. Currently, I don't have much knowledge about the admission process as it's changed now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Physical Science in chemistry. It has various subjects including physics, chemistry, and maths. Students having an interest in the science field can opt for this course. Our faculties provide the best knowledge of the course. All of the faculties are highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees. Our exams are conducted every semester and the difficulty of the exam level is moderate.

Remarks:

I was enrolled in the year 2021, and our admission procedure was held online. We filled out our application forms online, the application fee was 750 rupees. I got selected for Deshbandhu college on the basis of my 12th percentile. My admission process went smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I opted because after doing this course, I can pursue any of the subjects taught during graduation, eg. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. I want to opt for MSc after this, so it'd be great to study all of the subjects. The faculty is very great and Helpful, doesn't matter the question, they always explain it nicely. The exam standard is average, if you have studied, then you can pass easily

Remarks:

The college campus is really good, the faculty is great and kind Everyone is good, and college societies are incredibly nice, especially the Musical society This wasn't my dream college but as far as it is, it's now like a whole different atmosphere

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's a good course that starts with basic but didn't get through that much of a level they can increase the syllabus are very short at this time. faculty is good and supportive they help you with academics to co curricular activities.

Remarks:

It was a merit-based admission system considering 12th marks. now it's through the CUET entrance exam admission will get by the preference of choice of colleges and courses by how much percentile you get. You can find the examination form on the DU website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of Computer science and I have an interest in maths and physics. In my course, there are 72 students. All the teachers and faculty members are PhD holders. The 1 & 2 sem exam was easy but the 3rd term exam is difficult.

Remarks:

The eligibility of this course is you have PCM in 12th and you have to achieve more than 80 percent in 12th. You can find the application form on du.ac.in and then you have to fill in your all details as mentioned on the form reservation benefits is more in SC/ST

I choose the course as I was interested in bringing a computer student, faculty to student ratio is not that bad, teachers are well qualified as per my knowledge. Exam and all processes are quite a on time.

Remarks:

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is B.Sc. Physical science with computer science. I chose this course because it has 3 core subjects Computer science, Physics and Maths . though i don't like Chemistry at all but these three are their in my favourite list that's why i chose this course. Other than that if i wish to give and entrence exam for pg courses I'll be having 3 subjects to do mastery.

Remarks:

Admission process was very simple. I just have to fill the registration form for the Delhi University admission. I got my Course and College on the basis on my 12 grades. I didn't avail any Reservation benefits. As now the cucet is there for admission process so nothing wanted to be added by . But legit speaking Reservations should be expelled whil admission process
