Admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses at the University of Delhi are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) or entrance-based (that is, based on written/practical tests depending on the course selected by an aspiring student).

Motilal Nehru College Selection Criteria

B.A. Economics: The applicants must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying exams.
B.Com. (Hons): The applicants must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics at the qualifying examination. An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and a combination of the best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/ Commerce.
B.Com: An aggregate of 40% or more in English/Hindi and a combination of the best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.
B.Sc: Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science, and Mathematics.

As I was always interested to study humanities that's why I chose BA programmed. 82:1. All professors are Ph.D. holders and MAs. Term exams were very tough and it was difficult to pass. They teach just to complete their syllabus.

I chose this course because I was always inclined toward Economics, statistics, and data analysis. There are around 4000 students and 150 faculty members. The ratio is 3:80. All the teachers are highly qualified and the methods of learning are good. All 6 exams were on time.

The faculty of the university is up to the mark, there's always proper coordination between students and the faculty member having an average ratio is 1:30.The faculty members are well qualified to have teaching experience of several years, and they all have expertise in their respective fields. Conduction of exams used to happen very smoothly in a periodic way.
