Dislike

  • The syllabus should also be updated from time to time, which is being carelessly ignored.
  • Ugh. How can I forget about the placement and entrepreneurship cell of the college? Its way more pathetic and doesnt work accordingly. No company has visited my college campus till now.
  • If the condition is very poor, then you can also apply for scholarships in the college, and any bank will finance the amount.
  • The infrastructure is pathetic; the campus lacks Wi-Fi and the library is too small in size.
  • Students would take PGs as an option. For this, they have to pay at least 3000 rs per month without food facilities, or else they want food facilities too.
  • The roofs of some classes are broken, and the fans of some classes also do not work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the colleges at DU follow the same curriculum for the same courses. I had commerce without maths, so I ended up getting admission to bcom course which is one of the most prominent courses at DU. Since there was merit-based admission, loads of students applied for seats in this college. Currently, we have a strength of around 96 in my class. There are 4 sections For Bcom with an average strength of 350 students in bcom Program particularly. All the faculty members have proficient skills and thorough knowledge of their subjects and hold a PhD degree. The teaching method is also up to the mark. It depends from teacher to teacher. The syllabus is vast as per the new education policy but Can be covered with dedication within a month. Exams constitute subjective and lengthy questions so that there is no scope for cheating. Exams are conducted periodically after every 4 months for each semester along with preparatory leaves which is sufficient for a student to cover the syllabus.

Remarks:

I have taken admitted to this college purely on the basis of merit in the 3rd cut-off list from the general category. But now they have switched to Admission based on cuet scores which are to be taken into consideration. In order to be eligible for admission to DU for bcom course you need to secure an aggregate of 40% in all subjects in your intermediate I have also applied for the CW quota for admission to other Colleges but Didn't get selected. To avail CW quota you need to have an educational Concession certificate and you will get seats in your preferred college on a priority basis from 1 to 8 as per the conditions prescribed. Now there has been a significant change in the admission process. You will have to undergo the cuet entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the college was famous for its Commerce faculty so opted for the B.Com pass course. The faculties were experienced and expert in imparting the relevant subject knowledge with relevant examples and deep knowledge. Mid-term exams were conducted in half a year and then final-year exams were conducted.

Remarks:

I applied via admission forms available in South Campus and then submitted the same form along with the required documents. Then Cut off the list was placed in North Campus and I have to visit there to check the allotted college and further submit the documents copy and admission fees in the Moti lal nehru college situated in South Campus for the day shift timings. The college was famous for its commerce faculty and I was lucky to study there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because I was pursuing commerce in +2. The faculty is very good and the student ratio is good. The teaching method of the teachers is nice. 1st term exam for 2022 newly admitted students is expected in mid of February. According to my view, there is no difficulty to pass the exam.

Remarks:

The admission process was very good. Yes, for admission to Delhi University 2022 there was a CUET based entrance exam which was held online by National Testing Agency(NTA). DU has h reservation policy for SC/ST and 1 or 2 more category students. No, DU has a very good admission process.
